TERRA CERAMIC EMITTER 100W

Ceramic heat emitter designed for medium and large terrariums. Can be used as the basis for a heating system for lizards, snakes, tortoises, amphibians, arthropods and thermophilic mammals (such as pygmy hedgehogs and pygmy mice). The emitter generates heat, which is necessary for activity and physiological processes, while emitting no light.  This makes it possible to use it as a round-the-clock heat source and for keeping nocturnal animals (e.g. leopard geckos) and animals not keen on bright, intense light (most species of snakes, avians, tropical scorpions). The emitter allows creating zones with different temperatures in the terrarium. Local temperature variation within the terrarium is important as it prevents the animal from overheating. It also allows the animal to choose a place with different temperature depending on its physiological condition, preferences and needs (warmer after a meal, colder after intensive basking). Fitted with a universal E27 thread, the unit fits most commercially available holders and covers.
