Vortex
Mechanical filter, suitable for BIOklar 120 and 140, and also for smaller filters with partial embedding in the ground.
Removes the coarsest impurities before they settle on the filtration materials in the later part of the filter.
Especially useful for KOI Carp breeding.
The water in the filter is set into a swirling motion, heavier impurities sediment towards the lower sedimentation chamber, from where they are periodically removed by opening the valve.
