Sepia for birds and turtles is a fully natural product, consisting only of the cuttlefish skeleton and a clip for mounting in the cage. The cuttlefish is a marine mollusk with an oval body. Its internal skeleton, known as cuttle bone or sepia, is made entirely of calcium carbonate, which has been used for years as a calcium feed supplement for animals. The practical clip allows the sepia to be attached to the cage in such a way that the pet can freely nibble on it at any time. 

Calcium is essential for the health of our charges with beaks and shells. Its deficiency can lead to serious diseases such as rickets or hypocalcemia, as well as other diseases of the skeletal system, kidneys, and intestines. It is particularly important to supplement it during the autumn-winter period when the animals' diet lacks greens, during the growth of young animals, and during the breeding season.
